Assassins are the deadly agents of the High Lords of Terra and among the most feared of the Imperium’s weapons. Each one is created for a single purpose: to kill their target, no matter the odds or obstacles in their way.
Utterly dedicated to their cause, an Assassin will not quit once they have been ordered to kill, their mission ending only when either they or their target is slain. Though it is seldom that they do not complete their assignment, the skills and weaponry of the Assassins making them the equal of practically any xenos general or heretic warlord in the galaxy. Each Assassin is also created for a particular means of killing – such is the variety and powers of Imperium’s foes. Vindicare Assassins are snipers without peer, while Eversor Assassins are furious close combat horrors. Callidus Assassins are shape-shifting masters of subterfuge, and Culexus Assassins are the antithesis of all psykers. All, however, remain masters of death, and few that die by their hand ever see them coming.
Dataslate - Officio Assassinorum explores the shadowy world of the Assassins and details the highly trained agents that serve within its clandestine ranks. Each of the four Assassin Temples is covered in depth, including Datasheets on fielding Callidus, Culexus, Eversor and Vindicare Assassins in your armies, as well as rules for their esoteric weapons, wargear and preferred methods of murder.

Questa volta si tratta di un dataslate in versione digitale.
I membri dell'officio assassinorum trovano quindi la loro indipendenza e la possibilità di unirsi a qualsiasi fazione imperiale.

Gli assassini non fanno parte attualmente delle classi previste al lancio di Eternal Crusade.
Ma sicuramente li vedremo insieme ad una futura presenza dell'astra militarum (guardia imperiale) sembrano fatti apposta per essere un unità d'elite o addirittura un Hero.
