worlds factory: Early Access Coming A Lot Sooner Than Early 2015

Among many other appointments, at Gamescom 2014 we had the pleasure to meet with Behaviour Interactive‘s Head of Studio for Online Games, Miguel Caron, about Warhammer 40K: Eternal Crusade, the persistent online action MMORPG announced last year.
Some of you may not know this, but Miguel Caron is also working on Cloud Imperium‘s Star Citizen. Warhammer 40K EC will have a similar Early Access Game Module for all those who choose to support the game in the Founder Program; we have exciting news to share with the founders, as Caron told us that the first module, originally scheduled for release in early 2015, is expected to be available “a lot sooner” than that, thanks to the hard work of the studio.
He still couldn’t commit to a specific date, but nonetheless he hinted that it will be “before the snow starts”. Take that as you will, but it sounds like the Eternal Crusade will start some time later this Fall, with the full featured game scheduled for a late 2015 release. Look forward to the full interview once we have completed our transcript from the audio recording.
